I’d like to have told you about everything that has happened to me right from the get-go, but I don’t think that’s going to be happening. I find that this because of two things:

Your brain appears to be fully developed when you are about six months old, and you should be able to remember it functioning when you were at least three years old

and

no-one is expected to remember right when you’re born, all of your older relatives create the assumption in their heads that it’s somewhat freaky and pathetic in a sad way to remember much of what goes on in someone’s life on a daily basis, so you can’t rely on them for at least the first three years of your life.

Most of us were made so that we can’t remember everything about ourselves, that’s just it. I say most because I like to believe that there’s always an opportunity, for example, you’d probably be able to recall everything in your life if you have an eidetic memory.
An eidetic memory is a brain that can record all of the things it has ever seen, read or heard with a huge amount of detail. If you’re thinking “Huh? What’s an eidetic memory?”, think of it as a photographic memory. Why should you think of an eidetic memory as a photographic memory? It’s because the word “eidetic” is derived from the Greek word εἶδος (eidos), which means “seen”.

A photographic memory is a brain that sees things. It sees drawings and diagrams and paintings and videos and of course, photographs. A photographic mind is able to see things. It is, as you may perceive a very simple mind, but the framework of it can prove to be something that’s rather complicated.

The power to store these detailed pictures was said by Wikipedia to be found in a person’s early childhood (between 2% and 10% of that age group), it isn't meant to link with the person's level of intelligence.

There have been a whole load of people with the belief of an eidetic memory, yet there have only been two people with the proof. These guys were considered to be eidetic:

1. Stephen Wiltshire, the British architectural artist, he was able to draw Big Ben on a rainy evening in London, after a helicopter ride

2. Daneil Tammet, he holds the Euporean record for the longest recital of pi (22,514 digits).

Here are some people with the claims that they were eidetic:

1. Swami Vivekananda was a prominent Indian philospher and guru. According to “The Complete Works of Swami Vivekananda”, he had remember evrything that was asid in ten encyclopedias in not too many days.

2. Sukarno, basically, the reason why Indonesia has an Independence Day to celebrate, he’s said to have a photographic memory that assisted him in learning languages.

3. Kim Peek, an Ameriacn with an exceptional ability. It was because of her there was a Raymond Babbit in the film “Rain Man”.

4. Said Nursî, the Ottoman Islamic scholar capable of reciting numerous books from memory. I’m guessing he’s Turkish because the Ottoman Empire is what the country of Turkey uesd to be called.

5. John von Neumann. By looking at one column of a pohne book, he can remember what was on it without hesitation.

6. Ferdinand Marcos. Now this guy interests me, he used to be a Phillipian dictator, it kind of seems that he was able to turn his life around. Ferdinand Marcos can memorise perplexing texts within a glance, he can recite the 1935 Phillipian constitution forwards and backwards and in 1939, he took the bar examination and got a score of 98.01%.

On second thought, now I think I know why Ferdinand could have been a dictator. The bar examination was designed to say whether or not you can practice law in a given jurisdiction. Some people had a problem with Ferdinand’s near-perfect score, so they got him to do a retake. He got a perfect 100%.

7. Nikola Tesla, the electrical and mechanical engineer. Even if he didn’t have a photographic memory, he read several works and remembered complete books, Tesla could speak Latin, Serbo-Croatian, Czech, Italian, French, Englsh, Hungarian and German.
Tesla himself had an autobiography, “My Inventions : The Autobiography of Nikola Tesla”. In it, Tesla said he experienced various moments of great inspiration. Tesla suffered from illnesses and a strange affliction that resulted in blinding flashes of light and visions.

The visions Tesla saw would either be an idea or word he knew of or the answer to whatever problem he had before. If Tesla heard the name of an object, he could picture it out in realistic detail. Before Telsa constructed something, he visualised it precisely, with the dimensions. Telsa wasn’t the kind of person who drew things and he had frequent flashbacks to his past.

Now here are some eidetic people you may or may not have seen on TV:

1. Dr. Douglas “Doogie” Howser from “Doogie Howser, M.D.”
2. Solf J. Kimblee from “Fullmetal Alchemist”
3. Special Agent Fox Mulder from “The X-Files”
4. Professor X from “X-Men”

13. Dr. Spencer Reid from “Criminal Minds”
14. Dr. Sam Beckett from “Quantum Leap”
15. Dr. Lexie Grey from “Grey's Anatomy”
16. Dr. Sheldon Cooper from “The Big Bang Theory”

31. Mike Ross from “Suits”
32. Carrie Wells from “Unforgettable”
33. Malcolm from “Malcolm in the Middle”
34. Kei Takishima from “Special A”

Remember, I like to believe that’s there’s always an opportunity, like snacthing victory from the jaws of defeat, if I’ve uesd that idiom correctly. I like to believe that’s there’s always an opportunity, in fact, I’m very careful with that in my writing, or should I say typing, becuase I’ve done this on Mircosoft Word. Well, either way, thank you Mr Bill Gates for Mircosoft.

And thank you too, (assuming that you’re not Bill Gates) for reading this book. There’s something you should remember, and I’ll say it at the end.
This is the 2nd chapter of my 6th draft fot my autobiography, "THE COLOUR YELLOW". It's more about how people's minds work. Enjoy reading, please comment and please tell the people you know to read this. I'd like to hear some of your views.
